Inspection checklist

Agree the inspection before the goods are ready.

A clear scope makes the inspection report more useful and helps the buyer make a documented release decision.

Confirm the reference

Use the approved sample, purchase order, artwork and current specification as the inspection baseline.

Set the inspection scope

Agree quantity, sampling plan, critical-to-quality points, checks and photo requirements before booking.

Record the findings

Classify observations clearly and document the specific product, carton or production-area evidence.

Decide the next action

Confirm rework, re-inspection, shipment hold or other action with the buyer before goods are released.

Scope alignment is not a shipment release.

The inspection report supports a decision. Product compliance, shipment release and contractual acceptance remain the buyer's responsibility unless a written agreement states otherwise.
