The four are not tiers of the same thing. Each answers a different question and belongs at a different point in an order, and the cheapest one is the one that prevents the failure nothing else recovers from. Read the middle column first: if the question is not one you currently have, the service is not the one you need yet.

How they fit into one order
Bought separately, the three checks sit at three different moments, and the order they run in is the order the risk arrives in. Under a full engagement they are included rather than billed again on top, which is the main reason the commission looks higher than the sum of the checks.

Before money moves
Verification. The registered entity, whether the payee matches the party on your contract, and whether the registered address and the production address are the same place. It is the cheapest check on the list because it is desk work, and it is the one that removes paying the wrong company.

Before you commit
The audit. Capability and controls read against your order rather than against the supplier's largest customer — a factory comfortable with 50,000 units can handle 2,000 badly. Undisclosed subcontracting is a finding, not a footnote.

Before the balance is released
Inspection, against the sealed reference sample and the written specification, with photographs and measurements attached to each finding. The report reaches you within 48 hours of the on-site work finishing, so it arrives while the balance payment is still a decision.

Throughout, if we carry the order
You pay the factory directly for the goods at every stage. We hold none of your order money, so our fee and the factory's price stay two numbers you can check separately rather than one delivered figure with a margin somewhere inside it.
What none of the four include
Stated here rather than discovered later. Where something falls outside the scope we will say so and, where we can, point you at who does it.
- Freight forwarding and customs clearance. We coordinate the handover and pass verified carton counts, dimensions, weights and documents to your forwarder, but the booking contract, the clearance, the importer of record and the liability in transit are yours and theirs. We can introduce a forwarder; you contract and pay them directly.
- Laboratory testing. Composition, durability and safety performance are commissioned by you from an accredited laboratory, which reports to you. We can draw and seal samples under observation and hand them over.
- Reports under a certification or social-compliance scheme. No report is issued under BSCI, Sedex SMETA or any other programme's name, and an observation of ours is not a finding under one.
- Legal, contractual, intellectual-property, HS-classification, duty and tax advice. We verify facts; terms and classifications go to your own lawyer or customs broker.
- Warehousing, kitting and dropshipping, and design or DFM review. These are not services we currently offer rather than services we do badly.
- Holding your money. We never take payment for the goods; the factory is paid by you.
